We are located at No 16/2 on the 100 Feet Road, right near the Koyembedu Bus Terminus in Mmda Colony. Because of the bus stand, this is a very busy and noisy part of town. There is always something going on outside our doors. At Annamal Institute, we focus on teaching hotel management and catering technology. The building is filled with kitchens and training rooms where the students learn the real work of the hospitality industry. It is not a luxury hotel, it is just a place to learn the trade. You can often smell food being cooked when the practical classes are in session. We are not into big speeches or corporate talk. We just show our students how to handle a kitchen, set up a dining room, and manage a service. It is tiring work and the kitchens can get quite hot and messy during the day, but that is how you learn. The staff here has a lot of experience from working in real hotels over the years. Many students come to us because the bus terminus makes it easy for them to travel from different parts of the region. We do not have a fancy lobby or any expensive decorations. It is a very functional space for people who are serious about working in hotels. Sometimes the equipment shows its age, but it still works for learning. We keep things honest and practical for everyone who joins us.
