Anco Radiators

Anco Radiators is located at No. 15/2 on Boo Begum Street. We are tucked away right behind G. P. Road, near Mount Road. It’s one of those narrow streets where it can be a bit tricky to park, but we’ve managed here for a long time. The shop is filled with radiators of all shapes and sizes. It smells like solder and metal in here most of the time. We spend our days fixing leaks and cleaning out old cooling systems. It’s a messy job, getting all that rust and gunk out, but it’s what we do. The area around Mount Road is always packed with people and cars, so there’s never a quiet moment outside. Inside, we just focus on the workbench. We have a few old fans running to keep the air moving because it gets quite hot with the soldering torches going. Sometimes we have to hunt for parts that are hard to find for older models. We don’t really use a computer for much other than the basic stuff; most of our notes are kept in a ledger or on scraps of paper. It’s a very hands-on type of business. People bring in their radiators, we take a look, and tell them if it can be saved or if they need a new one. It’s simple and honest work that keeps us going.
