AMARAJOTHI RESORTS & BANQUETS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

I run Amarajothi Resorts & Banquets from an office at 12B Nowroji Road. We are on the first floor in the A2 section. Chetpet is where I have set things up. It is a busy part of Chennai, but Nowroji Road stays okay most of the time. Being an OPC means a lot of the responsibility falls on me personally, though I have people who help out with the resorts and the banquet halls when things get busy. It is not a huge operation with a board of directors. It is more of a personal business. I spend a lot of time on the phone or driving out to see the venues to make sure they are clean. There is always a wedding or a birthday party being planned, so things get pretty hectic during the marriage season. I have to make sure the chairs are there, the food is on time, and the lights actually work. It is not always easy, and sometimes things go wrong, but I just try to fix it quickly. I do not go in for fancy talk or corporate slogans. I just want the events to go well so I can keep the doors open. My office is a bit cluttered with samples and contracts. It is a real job with real stress, but I like seeing people have a good time at the places I manage. We are just a small local outfit in the 600031 area. (259 words)
