Our factory is located in the Modern Industrial Estate, specifically at plots 1726 and 1743. It’s a pretty large area with a lot of other businesses around us. We specialize in making flexitubes, so the sound of metal and machines is pretty much constant here. It can get quite loud and a bit hot on the shop floor, especially during the summer months. We have a separate area for the office work, but even there, you can still hear the hum of the production line. The estate roads are always busy with trucks coming in to pick up orders or drop off raw materials. We’ve been running Alfa Flexitubes Pvt. Ltd. from this location for quite some time now. Our day usually starts early when the first shift arrives. We don’t have any fancy corporate lounges or anything like that. It’s an industrial site, so things are practical and a bit rugged. There is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. We have a good group of people working here, some who have been with us since the very beginning. We just keep our heads down and make sure the machines are running smoothly so we can stay on schedule. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work and we take it one day at a time. The smell of manufacturing is just part of our daily routine.
