Akshaya Enviro Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is based out of No.31/03 on Vaithyaraman Street in T.Nagar, Chennai. T.Nagar is famous for being crowded and busy, and our little corner is no exception. We handle environmental stuff, which mostly means we spend our time thinking about waste and water treatment systems. It’s not the most glamorous business, but it’s what we know. Our office is a bit tucked away, which is nice because it gives us some peace to focus on our blueprints and technical reports. We have a few desks and some shelves piled high with binders. Most of us have been working together for a few years, so we have a good rhythm. The Chennai weather is usually hot, so the office is our little sanctuary from the sun. We don't have a big corporate structure. If a customer calls, they get to talk to one of us directly. We spend quite a bit of time visiting different sites across the city to see how the installations are going. Sometimes the traffic makes these trips take forever, but that’s just life in Chennai. We drink a lot of tea and coffee throughout the day to keep going. Our goal isn't to be the biggest company in India, we just want to solve the problems our clients have with their environmental setups. It’s honest, hardworking stuff. We like being in T.Nagar even if finding a parking spot is a daily struggle.
