Aabharana

Aabharana is our little shop located in Thillai Ganga Nagar. We mostly deal with jewelry and things like that. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood, which is nice because it lets us spend time with each customer who walks through the door. Usually, people come in looking for something special, maybe for a wedding or a birthday gift. We don't have those big, bright lights and security guards like the malls do. It’s a much more personal space. We have some nice pieces on display, but a lot of what we do is just talking to people about what they like. It’s a small business, so we handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the glass cases to helping someone pick out a pair of earrings. Thillai Ganga Nagar is a good community, and we see a lot of the same faces coming back over the years. We don't do much in the way of big sales or loud promotions. We just try to keep a good selection of items that people will actually want to wear. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a whole family comes in at once, but we just make room. It’s a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by pretty things and chatting with the neighbors. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay for a lot longer. It’s just our way of life, running a simple shop and being part of the area.
