We are out in Chengalpet, located at No.1 Factory Road in Athur. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Chennai city center, which actually makes the commute a lot easier for those of us living out this way. The office is situated in a more industrial or practical part of the area, as you can tell from the street name. It’s a straightforward building. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or bean bag chairs you see in startup videos. We just have sturdy desks and good computers. The work we do here is mostly technical solutions and keeping things running smoothly for our clients. It is a quiet area for the most part, which is good when you need to focus on complex tasks. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and sometimes eat together. There is a sense of community here because we aren't in a massive business park. We know the people in the neighboring buildings. It’s a very practical way to run a business. We start our day early and finish up when the work is done. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We appreciate the space we have here and the fact that it isn't as crowded as the city. It’s a solid base for us to keep working from. The train station isn't too far away either, which helps if someone needs to travel into the city for a meeting or some supplies.
