Neer Technologies Private Limited

Neer Technologies Private Limited is located at 2/1013, St Antony Nagar in Perumbakkam. Perumbakkam is one of those areas that’s growing really fast, so there’s always construction noise somewhere nearby. Our office is in a quiet pocket of St Antony Nagar though. The name "Neer" means water, which I always thought was a nice touch, even if our work is mostly technical stuff. The space we have is quite simple. We have a few rows of desks and some whiteboards that are covered in scribbles that only we understand. It's not a very big office. We usually eat lunch together at the big table in the back. It’s better than sitting at our desks all day. The commute to Perumbakkam can be a bit much depending on where you live, so some of us get here pretty early to beat the traffic. We don’t have a boss who watches the clock too closely, as long as the work gets done. There are some trees outside the window which is nice when you’ve been staring at a screen for four hours straight. We’re just a small team, mostly local folks. We don’t have any big corporate policies or handbooks. If someone needs a day off for a family thing, we just talk about it. It’s a very human way to run a company, I think. We just do our best every day.
