Mahindra World City is a huge place, so it takes a bit of time just to get through the main gates and find Iris Court. Our office at A412 is where all the work happens. It is a standard office environment within a large industrial and tech hub. Since it is a Special Economic Zone, there are always a lot of other companies around, but we just focus on what we are doing in our unit. The view from the windows is mostly other buildings and some green patches. We spend most of the day inside handling tech solutions. It is a quiet place to work, which is good for us. We do not have any fancy perks, just a place to sit and work. The commute can be a bit much for those coming from the middle of Chennai, but the train helps. We are just a team of people trying to get our work done in Chengalpattu. It is a very practical setup. We do not bother with corporate talk or anything like that. We just come in, log on, and stay busy until it is time to go back home to our families.
