Khan Traders

You can find us in Ballarpur, right on WCL Road and very close to the Madina Masjid. It is a busy spot with lots of trucks and heavy vehicles rumbling past all day long. We are traders, so we deal with all sorts of building materials that people in the district might need. Our office is just a small place near the post office where we handle the bills and talk to the customers. The noise from the road and the calls to prayer from the masjid are just part of our daily rhythm. We spend a lot of time outside checking the loads and talking to the drivers who come from all over the area. Sometimes the dust from the coal mines nearby mixes with the construction dust, so it is a bit of a messy environment. We aren't trying to be anything we are not; we are just a local business trying to provide what the builders need. When the monsoon hits, the road gets muddy and it makes the loading process much slower, but we just deal with it. We have been here for a bit, and we know the local contractors by name. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication and making sure we have enough stock in the yard. We just try to be fair and get the job done so we can head home to our families.
