Zaferoon Oven Food Llp is located in Plot No. 653, in the Industrial Area, Phase -1. We are on the Rcc ground floor, specifically on the left side of the building. Working in an industrial area is quite a bit different from being in the residential parts of Chandigarh. It’s much noisier here because of all the heavy trucks and the machines running in the other units. Our space is mostly taken up by several large ovens that stay on for most of the day. It gets incredibly hot in here when we are baking, especially during the summer. There is always a bit of flour on the floor or the counters, no matter how many times we sweep up. We don't have a shop where people can come in and browse. It’s purely a production site where we focus on getting the food cooked and packed for delivery. The ground floor has an open layout so we can move the heavy carts around without bumping into things. We have a tiny area blocked off with some old plywood where we handle the bills and orders. The desk chair there is a bit wobbly, but it’s fine for what we need. We spend our time checking the timers and making sure everything comes out of the oven correctly. It’s a lot of hard work on your feet, but we enjoy the daily routine of it.
