Cafe Jade

We set up Cafe Jade in shop number 254 here in Sector 38d a while back. It is right in the main market area of Chandigarh, so things get pretty busy around here especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We aren't a huge place, just a regular spot where you can grab a seat and a drink without much fuss. Most days it is just us making sure the tables are clean and the fans are running right because it gets hot. We wanted a place in the sector that felt easy to walk into. Sometimes the music is a bit loud or we run out of something on the menu, but that is just how it goes on a Tuesday. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we opened but we are still in the same corner of the market. It is mostly locals coming in after work or students looking for a place to sit for twenty minutes. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just some chairs, a few tables, and us behind the counter trying to keep up with the orders. If you are walking around the 38d market, you will see our sign. It is a simple life running a cafe in Chandigarh. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. There is always some noise from the street outside but it feels like home to us now.
