Yasho Industries Private Limited is over at 31- H, Laxmi Industrial Estate, on New Link Road in Andheri (West). Being in an industrial estate in Mumbai means it’s always busy and there’s never enough parking for anyone. Our place is a mix of an office and a space where we handle our industrial products. You can hear the sounds of the neighboring units all day long, mostly clanging and engines. We spend a lot of time on the floor checking on the batches and making sure things are moving along. It’s often quite warm inside, and the monsoon season makes everything feel a bit damp, but we keep going. We have a lot of different things going on at once, so it can get a bit chaotic on Mondays. People are always coming and going with delivery notes and samples of chemicals or materials. We aren't the type of place with a clean, white lobby. It’s a working environment with scuffed floors and plenty of noise. We’ve been in Andheri for a while and we’ve seen the area change around us quite a lot. The traffic on New Link Road is usually a nightmare, so we try to get our shipping done early. It’s a tough business and there’s always some problem to solve, whether it’s a late shipment or a machine that won't start. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do.
