J. K. Chemicals

J. K. Chemicals is located at 674 in Phase II of the Industrial Area. We have a decent sized space here where we handle all our chemical processing. It is a straightforward setup. We have the mixing area in the back and the storage up front. Most days, it is just the sound of the pumps and the guys moving barrels around. We have been in Phase II for a long time, so we know the shortcuts through the industrial streets. It is a practical business. We do not bother with fancy offices because we spend most of our time on the floor anyway. The floor is stained from years of work, but that is just how a chemical plant looks. We supply stuff to other local factories nearby. It is a lot of repeat work. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. Usually, someone just wipes their hands and picks up when it rings. We keep things moving. Sometimes we are here late when a big order comes in. It gets quiet in the industrial area at night, which is nice. We just focus on getting the ratios right and making sure the containers are sealed tight. There is no secret to it, just staying focused on what needs to be done. We appreciate the people who have stayed with us over the years. It is a tough business but we like it here and we plan to stay.
