Yamuna Chemicals

Yamuna Chemicals operates out of the Navjivan Building on Kazi Syed Street. We are on the mezzanine floor, which is a bit of a tight squeeze but we make it work. The building itself is old and has a lot of history, just like this part of town. Kazi Syed Street is always humming with people and carts moving goods back and forth. We deal in various chemicals and industrial supplies. It’s a lot of inventory management and making sure the right barrels get to the right people. We’ve been at 125/127 for a long time now. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks, old filing cabinets, and the smell of paper and ink. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or fancy coffee. We just want to get the orders filled correctly. Sometimes the street noise gets loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Our staff is small, just a few of us who know the trade inside and out. We talk to suppliers and customers all day, mostly over the phone or with people dropping in for a quick chat. It’s a traditional way of doing business, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We focus on the chemicals we know and make sure we don't overcomplicate things for anyone. It's honest work in a busy part of the city.
