Yashi International

Yashi International is over in the Jajmau area of Kanpur, specifically at 462-D in Defence Colony. It’s a different vibe here compared to the more crowded parts of the city. The office is located in a residential-style building which makes it feel a bit more grounded and less like a cold corporate space. We do our international business from here, mostly sitting at a couple of large wooden desks. There are always stacks of documents and samples around the room. Jajmau is known for certain industries, so being in Defence Colony gives us a bit of a quieter base to operate from. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like children playing or the occasional vegetable vendor passing by outside. The office itself is pretty simple, with some basic chairs for when visitors come by to discuss business. We have a shelf full of ledgers going back several years. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to typing up invoices. The walls have a few calendars and maybe a map, but nothing that you would call decor. We just focus on the work at hand and making sure our international shipments are moving like they should. It’s an honest, small-scale operation where we know our neighbors and keep a steady routine. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to work.
