Indian Polymer Industries

Out here in Industrial Area Phase II, things are always moving. Our place is at number 3, and it’s a typical factory setting with the sound of machines and the smell of materials being processed. We’ve been running Indian Polymer Industries for a while, and it’s mostly about keeping the equipment maintained and making sure the orders are packed right. It gets a bit noisy during the peak hours, so you have to speak up a bit when you're on the floor. The yard outside often has pallets stacked up waiting for the trucks to come by. We aren't a huge corporation with suits and ties; we’re just folks in work clothes getting our hands dirty. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or a motor, which can be frustrating but that’s just how it is. We eat our lunch together in the small break area and talk about the news or the weather. The dust from the industrial area is something you just learn to live with after the first week. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything leaving our door is what it's supposed to be. It’s hard work, but it’s steady, and we’ve got a good rhythm going here in Phase II. It is just about doing a decent job every single shift.
