Yash Export

Our place, Yash Export, is at 9 Bordi Bunglow on 1St Panjarapole Lane. If you’ve ever been down Panjarapole Lane, you know it’s narrow and always has something going on. The building is an old one, and our office has that specific smell of old paper and storage. We deal with exports, so there are always boxes being taped up or opened for inspection. Space is tight, so we have to be organized, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in for the first time. We spend hours making sure the labels are right and the shipping containers are booked. It’s a family-run kind of vibe where everyone does a bit of everything. One minute I’m on a call with a supplier and the next I’m helping move a heavy crate because the delivery guy is in a hurry. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been doing business with us for twenty years. We have a small window that looks out onto the lane, and we usually watch the daily chaos while we have our lunch. It’s a lot of coordination and triple-checking numbers so nothing gets stuck at the port. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy way to make a living, but it’s what we know best in this old part of the city.
