Vodaphone

This is our spot in Sector 17 at 57 59. It’s where we handle all the Vodaphone stuff for the people around here. It’s usually pretty hectic because there’s always someone with a bill problem or a lost SIM card. We have those plastic chairs lined up for people to sit while they wait for their turn. The air conditioner is a bit old and makes a humming noise all day, but it keeps the heat away. We have a few counters where we sit with our computers. Most of the time we are just typing in details and looking at screens. It’s not very exciting, but it’s what keeps the phones running. We have brochures on the tables that often end up on the floor. The glass doors have smudges from people pushing them open. We don’t have a lot of space, so it feels crowded when a whole family comes in. Sometimes the system goes down and we have to tell everyone to wait, which doesn't always go over well. We try to get through the queue as fast as we can. It’s just a regular office setup with files and computers and a lot of people talking at once. We’ve been here in Sector 17 for a long time. It’s a busy part of town so there’s never a quiet moment. We just do the paperwork and try to help. Every evening we tidy up the papers and start again.
