Sector 22 is always busy, and being at D 1 means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. We mostly deal with mobile phones and all the small things that go with them. The shop is quite small, so if three customers come in at once, it feels very full. We have glass counters filled with cases, screen protectors, and various cables. Half of them are probably a bit disorganized because people keep asking to see different colors. We do a lot of recharges and fix cracked screens when we can. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive and we have to explain that to frustrated people. It’s just part of the job. The fan overhead rattles if we turn it up to the highest setting. We get a lot of students from the nearby areas looking for cheap headphones or second-hand phones. It’s a loud neighborhood with lots of traffic noise coming in from the street. We usually have the radio playing some local station in the background. My cousin helps me out during the evenings when the rush starts. We don't have a big website or anything. Most people just know us because they walked past and needed their phone fixed. We keep a diary of all the repairs we have to do. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Just a regular shop in a regular sector. We stay open until late most nights.
