Vishkarma Repair Works

Vishkarma Repair Works is located in the Industrial Area Phase II, right on the 24th Main. We are in Phase VI at number 676. Being in an industrial zone means it’s always loud and there’s always a lot of dust flying around. We don't mind it much because we are usually covered in grease or oil anyway. We fix all kinds of mechanical things that break down. Our shop is full of heavy tools and machines that have been with us for years. They are old but they still work better than the new stuff you see today. It’s a rough-and-ready kind of place. We don't have a waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around and watch us work or come back later in the day. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved, so we stay pretty tired by the time evening rolls around. My hands are usually stained black from the engines, no matter how much I scrub them. We take pride in knowing how to fix things that others would just throw away. It’s honest work and it keeps the local businesses running. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, so we have to move some of the equipment around to keep it dry. It’s just part of being in this old building. We’ve been here a long time and we know every corner of this place.
