Gupta Agencies

Gupta Agencies is located in Sector 17, right over at Hira Baug, number 9. It’s an old part of the area and the building has that specific look to it. I’ve been sitting at this same desk for a long time. We handle a lot of different items, and the shelves are usually pretty packed with boxes that need to be sent out. It’s not a very big space at Hira Baug, so we have to be careful how we stack things. Sometimes I lose my pen under a pile of invoices. The street outside is usually busy with people walking by and cars trying to squeeze into the narrow spots. Sector 17 is a hub for a lot of activity, so there’s always something to see out the window. We open early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking the inventory that just arrived on the truck. It gets a bit dusty inside because of all the cardboard, but we try to keep it decent. People know us as the place at number 9. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth seems to work okay for us. It’s a simple business. My brother helps out with the heavy boxes when his back isn't acting up. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. It is mostly routine work.
