You can find us at Sector 44, specifically at number 1058. This store has been here for a while. At Virgin Mobile, we mainly deal with the mobile connections and the different plans people want to sign up for. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the counters and the chairs and the computers that we use to log everything into the system. It gets quite hot in the summer because the sun hits the front window directly. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the flyers and the brochures, it’s hard to stay on top of it. People come in mostly to complain about their signal or to get a new number. We just do what we can to help them out. The sector is pretty quiet in the mornings, but by lunchtime, it starts picking up. We don’t have a massive staff, just a couple of us who know the ropes. We’ve seen a lot of phones come and go over the years. Some days we’re just sitting here waiting for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place to get your mobile service handled without too much fuss. We know the neighborhood well and the people who live around here. It's just a regular part of the day for us. We close up around eight most evenings when the foot traffic dies down.
