If you ever head down toward the Chandigarh railway station, you’ll find us right near Gate Number 1. We are in Building Number 500 in Village Dariya. It’s a very specific part of the city that doesn’t feel like the rest of Chandigarh at all. It’s more like an old village that got swallowed up by the town as it grew. We are the Viom Brothers, and we’ve set up our business here because it’s convenient for transport and getting things moved around. Being right by the station means it's always busy and there’s always noise from the trains and the crowds. Our daily routine is pretty much just handling whatever jobs come our way. We deal with various services and projects, keeping things moving as best as we can. We aren't fancy people. Most days you’ll find us in work clothes, talking to laborers or checking on supplies. The office is just a place to sit down and handle the paperwork at the end of the day. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the street gets blocked by a big delivery truck, but we just deal with it. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we take it personally if something goes wrong on a job. We’ve been in Dariya for a while now and we know most of the people on this stretch of road. It's a hardworking area and we fit right in with the neighbors.
