About Kumar Sameer Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
We’ve got our office on the first floor of 733 in Sector 22-A. It’s a handy location because the market is right there, so getting lunch or a quick snack is never a problem. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying a lot of stuff. Inside, the space is filled with the smell of paper and old ink. We have several large windows that let in plenty of sunlight during the afternoon. Sameer is usually tucked away in the corner with a stack of blueprints that seems to grow every day. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs by the door. It’s a very practical setup where the work comes first. Most days are spent either drawing or talking on the phone with contractors. It gets a bit hectic when we have several projects going at once, and the desks get covered in scribbled notes. We don’t use much high-tech gadgetry, just the usual computers and a good printer that jams every now and then. It’s a local business through and through. We know the people in the other offices nearby and often stop to chat in the hallway. There’s no corporate vibe here; it’s just us doing our jobs in a space that fits our needs. It works for us, and it works for the people we help. We always have a fresh batch of pens ready for marking up plans.
