Sharma Shikhar Architect

Sharma Shikhar Architect is run out of house number 2829 in Sector 38/C. It is a residential area, so it is much quieter than being in the middle of a big commercial market. We use a part of the house as our dedicated working space. It is nice because the environment doesn't feel like a cold or sterile office. There are trees just outside the window and you can hear the birds in the early morning. We have our desks set up with all the tools we need for drafting and planning. Sector 38/C is a good location, and it's central enough for us to reach different parts of the city without too much trouble. We don't have a big staff at all, just a couple of people helping out with the drawings and the site visits. Most of our work comes from people living in the neighborhood or in the nearby sectors. It is a very hands-on way for us to work. We spend a lot of time talking through different ideas and trying to figure out the best way to use a small space. It is not about being fancy or impressive; it is just about making things work for the people who will actually live there. We have been here for several years now and have seen the sector change quite a bit. The office is often a little messy with pens and scraps of paper scattered around. That is just part of the creative process. We don't mind the clutter at all.
