Vinod Electrical is a small shop located in Sector 18 at number 32. I’ve been working with wires and switches since I was a young man, so opening this place felt like the right thing to do. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes of light bulbs, coils of copper wire, and all sorts of sockets. It’s a bit cramped inside, and if two people come in at once, they usually have to squeeze past each other. I spend a lot of my time testing things or putting together small electrical components for customers who live nearby in the sector. Sometimes people call me to their houses to look at a ceiling fan that has stopped spinning or a fuse that keeps blowing out. I grab my tool bag and head out on my scooter when that happens. The shop can be a bit dusty because of all the cardboard boxes, but I try to keep the counter clear. There is a small radio that I keep on for company, usually playing some old songs. I don't have any assistants, so if I’m out on a repair job, I just pull the shutter down for a bit. People in Sector 18 know the routine by now. It is a simple business, really. I just like fixing things and making sure the lights stay on for everyone around here. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy enough every day.
