Vacations Exotica

You can find us in Sector 17, right on the 1st Main at SCO 64-65. It’s a pretty central location, so we see a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The office itself is quite functional. We have the usual desks, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of travel brochures that we probably should organize better. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now, helping people plan their holidays and getaways. It’s a bit of a mixed bag of work. One minute we’re booking a simple train ticket, and the next we’re trying to coordinate a whole overseas trip for a large group. It keeps us on our toes. We don't really do the whole polished corporate routine. Most of us just wear comfortable clothes and talk to you like a normal person. We’ve learned that travel plans can be fragile, so we spend a lot of time double-checking dates and names. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it’s the most important. Sometimes things go wrong with flights or hotels, and that’s when we’re usually at our busiest, trying to fix things from our end in Sector 17. We’re just a local bunch who know the travel industry fairly well. We don't make big promises, we just do the work and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. It’s been our daily routine for years and we like it.
