Monika Tour And Travels is located over in Sector 20A. We’ve been operating out of this little office for a good bit of time. People usually come in asking about bus timings or car rentals, and we do our best to look things up on the old computer. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just a few of us sitting around, taking phone calls and writing things down in our ledgers. Sector 20A is a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you come at the wrong time of day. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and making sure they know where they are going. Sometimes the lines are busy, and we have to call back three or four times. It can be stressful when the weather is bad because everything slows down. We keep some old maps on the wall just in case the internet goes out, which happens more than you’d think. There is a tea stall nearby that we visit way too often. Most of the day is just spent waiting for the next customer to walk through the door or the next phone to ring. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a couple of plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. It’s a basic business, but it keeps us busy and we like the people in the area. We just try to get things right.
