Om Shanti Travels Chandigarh is over in Sector 45-C at No. 2050/1. If you know Chandigarh you know the sectors are laid out in a specific way but 45-C has its own feel. We spend our days on the phone or on the computer trying to get travel plans sorted for people. It is a small office space tucked away in the sector. We have some old maps on the walls and a few desks that have seen better days. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when people are trying to catch their rides or finalize their bookings. We handle a lot of local trips and some longer ones too. The parking around here can be a bit of a headache sometimes so most people just hop out of a rickshaw to see us. We don’t have any fancy brochures or high-tech screens. It’s mostly just us writing things down and making calls to drivers. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It is a very normal local business where we know the names of our regular customers. There’s always someone coming in asking about bus times or car rentals. We just do our best to get them where they need to go without making things too complicated. It’s a plain and simple operation. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just helping people move from one place to another.
