Sector 22 1030/31 is where we are set up. It’s a decent-sized space compared to some of the other shops nearby. We’ve got the kitchen area in the back and the main seating out front. The tables are just simple laminate ones that are easy to wipe down after a meal. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and getting the spices ready in the morning. The smell of cooking hangs in the air all day. It’s a busy part of Sector 22, so we get a good mix of office workers and residents coming in. The floor is tiled and can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful with the spills. We have a large fridge for the cold drinks and it hums quite loudly. Some of the chairs are a bit mismatched because we’ve had to replace them over time. We don't have any fancy lighting, just the standard overhead tubes. The menu is written on a chalkboard near the entrance, though we change it based on what we have. It gets quite hot in the kitchen when all the burners are going. We keep a stack of napkins on every table. People usually come in for a quick bite and don't stay too long. We have a small counter where people pay on their way out. It’s a straightforward place, nothing too complicated about how we run things here. Usually, by the end of the shift, we’re pretty tired but the cleanup doesn’t take very long.
