True Metal

You’ll find True Metal over at number 285 in the Grain Market area of Industrial Area Phase II in Gandhidham. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with the grain market right there. We deal with metals, which means there’s a lot of heavy lifting and clanking sounds throughout the day. Our yard is usually full of scrap or finished pieces waiting to be moved. It’s not the most beautiful place to look at, but it’s where we get the work done. We’ve got a couple of old machines that we’ve had for years, and they still run fine as long as we keep them oiled. The guys working here have been around for a long time and they know exactly how to handle the material. We don't really do much in terms of marketing or trying to look polished. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Sometimes we have to stay late if a shipment is delayed, but that’s just how it is in this industry. It gets pretty hot in Gandhidham, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when we can. It’s a simple, honest way to work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what we say we will from our spot in the industrial area. There is usually a lot of noise from the neighboring shops too. We just turn up the radio and keep moving. It's a solid living.
