H.M.Steels Limited is based out of the Chandigarh and Haryana area. We’ve been around this part of India for quite some time now. Dealing with steel isn't exactly a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Our setup is pretty basic, just an office and the usual gear we need to stay on top of things. We don't go in for fancy titles or big corporate meetings. Most of the time, we’re just talking to people on the phone or checking over orders in the warehouse. Chandigarh is a good place to be because everything is planned out, but we also spend plenty of time across the border in Haryana. It’s a busy region, and there’s always something happening in the steel trade. We’re just a group of people trying to make a go of it. We’ve had our ups and downs over the years, just like any other local business. You won’t find any polished sales pitches here. We just tell it like it is. If we can get the steel you need, we’ll say so. If there’s a delay, we’ll tell you that too. It’s an honest way to run a business. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a calendar and a lot of work to do. We’ve stayed in this area because it’s home, and we know the people who live and work around here. It works for us.
