Modern Steels Limited

Modern Steels Limited is based over in Sector 48A of Chandigarh, specifically at 293 in the RCS Society. It’s a nice area to be in, and the office is located in a spot that’s easy enough for people to find once they get into the sector. Chandigarh is a planned city, so everything feels a bit more orderly here than in other places, but our day-to-day work is still pretty hands-on. We deal with all sorts of steel requirements and the logistics that go along with it. The office is where the main decisions happen and where we keep all the files in order. It’s not a huge corporate headquarters; it’s more of a functional space for a dedicated team. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through schedules. Most of us have lived in Chandigarh for years, so we appreciate the pace of the city. We don’t really do the whole corporate polish thing. We’d rather just talk to people straight and get the work finished. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just how things go when you’re dealing with manufacturing and supply. We keep our coffee pot full and just tackle whatever comes through the door each morning. It’s a good way to earn a living in a city we like, and we try to keep things as practical as possible.
