The Travel Planet

The Travel Planet is located at SCO Number-123 on Madhya Marg in Sector 8. We are right near the Cooperative Bank, which is a big help when people are trying to find the office for the first time. Madhya Marg is a major road in Chandigarh, so there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We have been in this Sector 8 spot for a good number of years. Inside, the office is pretty standard. We have some desks, a few chairs for people to sit while they wait, and lots of travel brochures scattered around. We spend our time helping folks with all kinds of travel bookings. It’s a straightforward job and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We aren't a big corporation with fancy meetings; we just handle the work as it comes in. Some days it is very busy and we are all juggling three things at once. Other days it is slow enough that we can actually sit and have a long lunch. We like being in Sector 8 because it is central and easy for people to reach. We don’t have any slick promotional lines or anything. We just do the travel work and try to be decent to everyone who walks in. It is just a regular office on a busy street where we try to get things right for our customers.
