Thakural Travels

You can find Thakural Travels in the basement of Sco-38-39. We are in Cabin No-7, right in Sector 17A. It's quite close to the Taj Hotel, which is a big landmark around here. Being in the basement means it’s a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice. Sector 17 is the heart of Chandigarh, so there's always something going on outside. Our cabin is small, just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for guests. We do a lot of railway bookings and car rentals. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the signal isn't the best downstairs, but we've got a landline that works fine. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. People know us for being in this specific building. We don't use any flashy marketing. We just sit here, take the calls, and book the trips. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and talking to drivers. It can get a bit cramped when more than two people come in at once, but we make it work. Sector 17A has its own charm, even with all the new malls coming up elsewhere. We prefer staying here. It’s a basic setup, no frills, just helping people get from one place to another without a fuss. We just keep track of the tickets and the dates to make sure nobody gets stranded.
