Our office is at SCO 27 in Sector 26 on Madhya Marg. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around all day. Being on Madhya Marg means we’re right in the middle of everything. It’s an older building, and we’ve got our desks set up to make the most of the space. Most of the morning is spent on the phone or handling paperwork for steel orders. Since we are part of a big organization, there’s always a lot of forms and procedures to follow, but in this office, it feels more local. We know the regular contractors who come in. The tea guy comes by at eleven, and that’s usually when we take a break. We’ve got stacks of files that probably go back years. It’s not a very modern look, just standard office furniture and cabinets. We try to keep things moving as fast as the system allows. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing, and other times it's oddly quiet. We deal with a lot of different people, from small builders to big project managers. Everyone wants their stuff yesterday, so we do what we can. It’s just a regular job for us, getting through the stack of papers on the desk and making sure the logs are updated before we head home in the evening to beat the heavy traffic outside.
