Starfizz Events And Promotions is located over at the Modern Residential Complex in Chandigarh. It’s a quiet enough spot, which is nice when we are trying to plan out the details for a new project. We do a mix of things, from small parties to bigger promotional work around the city and even into parts of Haryana. There are about four of us who handle the main coordination. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving around to different venues to see how the space works. It's not a glamorous job, despite what people think about events. There is a lot of heavy lifting and moving boxes involved. We’ve had this place for a few years now. The office is usually a bit cluttered with leftover samples and old banners, but we know where everything is. We try to keep things straightforward with everyone we work with. If we can do something, we say so, and if we can't, we're honest about that too. It saves a lot of trouble later on. Most of our work comes from people who saw what we did at another event and gave us a call. We just focus on getting the banners up and the sound system working right. It’s a decent living and we enjoy being out and about in Chandigarh instead of being stuck behind a desk all day.
