Srivastavs Tours & Travels

We are tucked away in Shakti Nagar, specifically at Seed No 12 in the Bajwara area of Dera Bassi. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Chandigarh city center but we like it here. Srivastavs Tours & Travels is basically a family effort. We started with one car and slowly added a few more as people started recognizing us. The office is small, more like a room where we keep our paperwork and drink tea. We know everyone in the neighborhood. Often, people just walk in to ask about train timings or how much a trip to the hills would cost. We don't mind. We try to give them a fair idea. Dealing with the traffic on the highway can be a pain, especially during the weekends when everyone is heading out. We’ve had our fair share of car troubles and missed turns, but we learn. It’s a messy business sometimes, keeping track of which driver is where and if they’ve had enough sleep. We use a lot of notebooks to write things down because the computer acts up sometimes. It’s just how we do things. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to stay busy and make sure the families who travel with us get where they are going safely. It feels good when a trip goes well. We hope to stay in Shakti Nagar for many more years.
