We are based in Uttam Nagar, specifically at F-95 Jeewan Park in New Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded and loud it can get around this area. Our office is right in the thick of it. We spend our days looking at screens, trying to figure out flight schedules and hotel bookings for people going all over the place. It is a lot of phone calls and typing. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. The office isn't very big, so we are all sitting pretty close to each other. It gets a bit chaotic when more than two or three customers come in at once. We have stacks of brochures everywhere, though most people just want to look at things on their phones now. Being part of the Kuoni group means there is always some new procedure to learn, which can be a bit of a headache for us. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon slump. The commute to Uttam Nagar is usually the hardest part of the day because of the traffic jams near the park. Once we are here, it is just about getting the work done and helping people plan their trips. It is a very ordinary office life, with the usual office politics and the constant hum of the computers and fans.
