This is Solan Shimla Transport(P) Ltd. Our main office is located at 5 Transport Area 26, Sector 26. We are near Anand Mahal Road, specifically in the Omkar Society area of Adajan Dn. It’s a bit of a long address, but once you get to the Transport Area, it’s not hard to spot us. This part of Sector 26 is always busy with trucks and vans moving around. It’s noisy and dusty, but that’s just how it is in the transport business. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few desks for the dispatchers and a lot of logbooks. Most of our day is spent tracking where things are and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes there are delays with the traffic or the weather. We just deal with those things as they come up. We don't have a polished corporate image. Our walls are covered with maps and schedules instead of art. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. Most of the folks who work here have been with us for a long time. We know the roads and we know how to get the loads moved. It’s a simple business without any unnecessary frills. We just focus on the logistics and keep the wheels turning day after day.
