Link Roadways

We’ve been here at Sector 26 on Pipeline Road for quite some time now. Our spot at Scf-289 is usually a bit busy, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. Link Roadways isn't some huge fancy office with glass walls, it’s just us doing the daily work of getting things from one place to another. Most days involve a lot of phone calls to drivers and checking on where the loads have reached. It gets dusty out here sometimes because of the road work, but that is just part of being in this area. We have a few desks and a lot of logbooks stacked up. People stop by to ask about rates or just to see if their stuff left on time. It is a straightforward operation really. My cousin started helping out last year which makes the paperwork go a bit faster. We don't really have a fancy website or anything like that, just the sign out front and the regulars who know where to find us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back while we talk to the neighbors. It’s a decent living and we know the routes around here like the back of our hands. Nothing too complicated about how we run things, just keeping the wheels moving and making sure we don't mix up the delivery addresses. It is a long day but we are used to it.
