Working out of Chandigarh G.P.O 28/2 has its own rhythm. H S P L Logistics operates from this corner, and it's mostly about keeping track of what’s moving where. The office isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We spend most of the morning staring at schedules and talking to drivers on their mobile phones. It's a lot of coordination that doesn't always go perfectly, but we manage. Chandigarh is a nice place to work, though the traffic near the G.P.O can get a bit much during the peak hours. We’ve got a small team here at H S P L Logistics. Most of us have known each other for quite a long time. There is usually some radio playing in the background while someone is typing up reports or checking the inventory lists. We aren't big on formalities here. If someone comes in with a question about a shipment, we just look it up and tell them what we know. The walls are covered in maps and calendars that have been marked up with pens of different colors. It feels like a real workspace, not a showroom. Sometimes the printer jams or the tea runs out, and we just deal with it. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to stay on top of the logistics side of things without making it too complicated. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy talk, we just want to get the job done.
