Singh Electronics

Singh Electronics is situated on Muneshwara Temple Street in Sector 35, right within Kamalamma Layout 1. Our shop is full of things that need fixing, from old television sets to ceiling fans that have stopped spinning. There are wires and circuit boards all over the counters. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we manage to find what we need. The street outside is quite lively because of the temple, so there are always people walking by and the sound of bells in the morning. We spend most of our time sitting at the back under a bright lamp with a soldering iron. It’s quiet work that takes a lot of patience. We aren't a big showroom with new products. Most of what we do is repairing the things people already own. Sometimes a customer comes in just for a small battery or a piece of wire. We’ve lived and worked in Sector 35 for years, so we know the families in the layout. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, just a small table fan that hums all day. It gets a bit dusty with all the old electronics sitting around. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open up the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the community here on Temple Street. It’s just how we live.
