Simran Communication

Simran Communication is located over in Sector 32, right on 6th Main in the Chamundi Layout area. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main markets, which I actually prefer. I’ve been running the shop for a few years now. I mostly deal with mobile recharges and selling those small items like earphones or phone cases that people always seem to lose or break. The shop is tucked away a bit, so most of our customers are folks who live right here in the layout. They stop by on their way back from the grocery store or while taking a walk in the evening. I keep the place open pretty late most nights because that is when people realize they ran out of data or their charger stopped working. It is just me and sometimes a cousin who sits here. We have a small TV in the corner that usually plays the news or a cricket match if one is on. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to me. I know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. We don’t do anything fancy, just the basic stuff people need to keep their phones running. Sometimes someone brings in a phone with a broken button, and I see if I can wiggle it back into place. It’s a decent way to spend the day in Chamundi Layout.
