Shivom Industry

Our unit is at 803 on the Main Road in Industrial Area Phase II. It is a loud place because of the machinery we run. You can usually hear the hum of the motors from the street. We have been here for several years now, and the building shows its age a bit, but everything inside works like it should. We do a lot of fabrication and assembly work. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time and they know the machines better than anyone. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. The floor is often covered in metal scraps or wood shavings depending on what we are making that week. It is a practical environment. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we keep the ledgers, but we spend most of our time out on the floor. Being on the main road makes it easy for trucks to pull in and out, which is good because we move a lot of material. Sometimes things go wrong, a belt breaks or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. We do not have any grand plans, we just want to keep the machines running and the work moving out the door.
