Kambia Paper Store

Our shop is located at 2030 in the Tyre Market area of Sector 45. It might seem like a strange place for a paper store, being surrounded by mechanics and tire shops, but it works for us. The air always smells a bit like rubber and oil from the neighbors. Inside, we have stacks and stacks of different paper types. It can get pretty dusty, and we have to be careful about the humidity so the stock does not get ruined. We get all sorts of people coming in. Some are looking for specific sizes for printing, others just want some basic stationery. It is mostly me and a helper running the place. We spend a lot of time moving heavy boxes around. My back usually aches by Tuesday, but you get used to it. We do not have a fancy website or a digital catalog. If you want to know what we have, you usually have to come in and look or give us a call so we can check the back shelf. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff and have to wait for the truck to come from the mill. It is a steady life. We open early when the market starts waking up and close when the last mechanic down the street finishes his work. It is not a glamorous business, but people always need paper for something or another. We have been in this same spot for a long time.
