Shiv Home Movers & Packers is based out of Mohali on Rohan Road. If you have ever been down Rohan Road, you know it is a main artery for getting things moved around this area. We have our trucks parked nearby and our office is where we handle all the scheduling and paperwork. Moving stuff is hard work and it isn't always pretty. We spend a lot of our time dealing with boxes, tape, and heavy lifting. Our office reflects that. It is a functional space, not a showroom. There are usually rolls of bubble wrap sitting in the corner and clipboards hanging on the walls. My name is on the sign and I am usually around to see what is happening. We have a small team of guys who know how to handle furniture without breaking things. It is a stressful job sometimes because people are nervous when they move house. We just try to keep a level head and get the job done. Mohali is a good base for us because we can get to most places quickly from here. We don't have a fancy corporate structure or anything like that. We just move boxes from one place to another and try to do it right. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult but we just keep going. It is just a normal local business that has been here for years.
