You can find us at 32 Sector 26, right along Baner Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, which is good for us since we are in the transport line. The office is basically a hub where we track where our vehicles are and talk to the guys on the road. It smells a bit like diesel and old paper in here, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We have a small table where the drivers sit and have their tea before they head out again. It’s a lot of checking schedules and making sure the loads are ready to go. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a map that has seen better days. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the routes by heart and which roads to avoid when the rain starts. Baner Road can get really jammed up in the evenings, so we try to get most of our moving done early in the day. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the energy. There is always someone coming or going. We deal with the usual headaches of the road like flat tires or late deliveries, but we just take it as it comes. It’s a simple operation, no big corporate rules, just getting the job done day by day.
