Shannon Holidays Travels Pvt. Ltd is situated over in Sector 32D of Chandigarh. Our office is on the second floor of Sco 271, which keeps us away from the main noise of the street but still right in the middle of things. We spend most of our mornings answering the phone and checking flight schedules for people who walk in or call us. It isn’t a very big place, just a few desks and computers, but we keep busy enough. Most days, we are just looking through travel documents or trying to figure out the newest rules for overseas trips so we can tell our clients. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were here. It is a quiet routine usually. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but it’s a good spot once you get up here. Sometimes the internet is slow or a booking takes longer than it should, but that is just how it goes in this business. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we try to get things done right for the families and individuals who come to see us. Living and working in Chandigarh means we know the local crowd well and we just try to be helpful without making a big fuss about it.
